In October 2007 I applied for a position on the Team EasyBoot team for 2008. Much to my surprise i was accepted. What this means is that around 100 people around the world including approximatley 7ish of us in Australia were selected by Easycare Inc to trial and provide fee
dback on their new hoofboots. We will be promoting the boots at our events (for me endurance rides) and also anywhere else we feel there may be interested people. It is a fantastic oppertunity from easycare, where we will be assiting people with choosing and fitting boots, deciding which boots suit their horse in their particular sport etc and providing feedback to Easycare on how we find the latest versions under 'real life' trials.
My experience with boots started around 5 or 6 years ago when we were rehabiliting my foundered QH - we purchased a pair of Old Macs to make him more comfortable and able to move around to increase circulation and healing. For endurance I started with old macs, moved onto Easyboot Epics, then the Easyboot Bare... and now with the release of the glove, glue on and Edge these three boots are fantastic additions and I see the glove and edge taking the market by storm! Boots have become a huge success in endurance espicially with the growing number of ride wins and best conditions wins of mainland riders!
Easycare and the Australian Distributor Easycare Downunder is a fantastic company to work alongside. They already have fantastic products that do suit most of the hooves out there today BUT they never ever stop researching and developing and strive everyday to see where they can still improve on their boots. It is only onwards and upwards for this company and that means the same for our horses - it will only get better and that can only mean great things for our horses hooves!
