It feels like such a long time since I have taken Fanta out and about so on the float she went for a morning at a nearby beach with Jack.  She really has grown so much and hard to believe that she will be three years old this year, and this time next year will quite likely be out and about under saddle!

Fanta has settled in her new paddock really well now and as soon as I get a chance will try and get her out and about.  We have a few tracks around the property to clear then I am hoping to start ponying her off jack every now and then for some walks out.  She really loves to stay busy and as you can tell by her nearly empty '2010 page' she hast done alot so far this year!  So I am hoping this weekend to spend some time pampering her as she is still filthy from her trip over and take her for a walk around while I go and look around the property a little more now that we are settled in.  Below is a piccie of her take this week.

Fanta got to head out with Jack to a lesson with Carlos a few weeks ago, she got to do lots of liberty work and she and Jack had a blast.  She has the most mischievous personality and is such a bold girl - she gets bored very easily and likes to keep her mind busy all of the time, great for her training... not so great for me trying to keep up with her lol.  Some pics below of her lesson :)

Well after a quiet year for Fanta last year, hopefully 2010 will be a little more exciting for her.  She is a tad porky at the moment being only two and living the life of luxury.  She is booked in with Jack for a lesson with Carlos next weekend and then she will start to head out on a few of my short slow rides being ponied off jack in the next few months!  Stay tuned for her updates!
